Some of our friends suprised us with a King Cake early last week.  It was lip smackin' good.  We had not had one this whole Mardi Gras season.  In college, since Southern Miss is fairly close to New Orleans, we had Mardi Gras break - along with Spring break, Easter break, and every other break.  I always looked forward to that Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Fat Tuesday off.  Man, those were the days. 

In other news, my new sewing machine should be arriving this week.  My first one broke...after ONE and only ONE project.  My felt garland is the only thing I've sewed. Or is it sewn?

Anyway, hopefully that will change after my new and improved machine comes in.
