We were college freshmen, living in Bolton Hall, two doors down from each other. Her name is Amy, but I call her Roomie and she calls me Roomie. We lived together from Sophomore year to Senior year, hence calling each other "Roomie."
This is the Bolton Hall 4th floor hallway - we spent many quality hours in it.
We've had many adventures together - like going to the Petal Playground late at night. We were such freshmen.
This was taken right before we did what is pictured in the shot below....
That was Casey's truck at the time and we made sure that it had 1100 post-it notes on it before we went to bed that night. We were such Sophomores. (I wasn't dating Casey yet - not even close. But flirting with him - yes.)
This was taken at Casey's first gig. Roomie faithfully attended every single one of them with me.
We were headed to the movies and happened to dress almost the exact same that day. That was not the only day it ocurred in our tenure as roommates.
This was taken in the subway in Washington D.C.
RUF crawfish boil at the end of Sophomore year.
Summer time - her birthday weekend (as well as her twin sister's of course!)
End of the summer, in the Delta.
Amy "piniked" this picture. We were at Chili's for our dear friend Nathan's birthday.
Amy was our biggest supporter as we trained for our half-marathon Junior year. She cheered us on until we crossed the finish line!
We went to New York City through our scholarship program. Our mode of transportation was the train. It took 36 hours to get from Hattiesburg, MS to New York. Despite that fact, it was an amazing trip!
Out to eat at TGIF for Nathan's birthday Senior year.
There we are with Case and the birthday boy himself. Casey and Nathan were roomies too. (Not that they called themselves "roomies" - just needed to make that clear.)
At Nurse Amy's pinning ceremony. I'm so proud of you! She used me as a "practice patient" many times, so I'm glad she made it ha!
Amy's marrying that boy on the far left. His name is Justin and he who we prayed for - for a very long time.
Which means, come June 4th, 2011 she'll be the one wearing white.
That means that we need to be praying for Amy and Justin as they prepare to start their life journey together.
I love you Roomie!
