I would like to share a few pics from our first Southern Miss home game. First of all, this game started at 9:00pm on Saturday night, and did not end until 12:45am. Secondly, there was a tropical storm occuring. AND we had a fairly full stadium. True fans.
This picture was taken as soon as we entered the stadium...45 min before the game started. You can understand why there are not too many people present yet. You have to understand how hardcore, my husband, and the people we tailgate with/sit with are about Southern Miss football. On a sunny day, we enter the stadium at least 1 1/2 hours before the game starts, so we can watch the pre-game. That means we watch both football teams stretch and do jumping jacks.
None of the players really wanted to sit down and stretch before this game.
Casey loves to cheer. He is so horse, listening to him sing is funny.
Half-time.
Kelsey and me. The wives that earn extra bonus points with the men we live with for going to games like this. Just kidding, marriage doesn't work like that. This is right after the end of the game, and we laughed at how soaked we were.
The guys. Kelsey is married to Neil, who is on the far left.
*One last very important thing. Thank you to all of you who take the time to read my ramblings. Knowing who my readers are makes it more fun and encourages me to keep blogging.
Also, thanks for the kind feedback about my colorful canvas.
It is now hanging on new nails that are straight. :)
